Description
The Sargent 6400 is an interchangeable brass construction core designed for contractors and project managers who need temporary security during building construction. It prevents permanent key system distribution before project completion and works across multiple Sargent products including exit devices, mortise locks, bored locks, and padlocks.
All 6400 cores are keyed alike for simplified job-site access and feature a dimpled plug face for quick identification. After construction wraps up, simply remove the brass cores using a special control key and install permanent 6300 keyed cores instead. Available in mortise sizes 64-42, 64-43, 64-44, and 64-46.
