The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty rim-mounted panic bar designed for wood or metal doors 1-3/4" thick. Built for facilities requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified security, this device combines modular construction with minimal moving parts for maintenance-free operation and reliable emergency egress protection in high-traffic environments.
This left-hand reverse (LHR) model fits door widths 24-32" with E Rail configuration; no cutting required for 32" doors. Compatible with wood or metal doors up to 2-1/4" thick (specify thickness and order with 31- prefix).
