Description
The Sargent 1256-MD8613F is a heavy-duty rim exit device designed for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and institutional buildings, this right-hand reverse (RHR) device provides reliable panic bar operation and exceeds strength standards for the life of the building.
This model fits 1-3/4" minimum thickness metal doors with 4-1/2" minimum stile width and uses interchangeable rail sizes (E, F, J, G) for door widths from 24" to 48". Compatible with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes for panic and fire-rated applications. Dogging, electric options (alarm, beacon, photoluminescent, delayed egress, remote latch retraction, and more), and monitoring features are available. Contact E.D.
