The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. This rim-mounted, right-hand reverse model exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements and features modular construction with minimal moving parts, making it maintenance-free and ideal for facilities demanding long-term security and reliability.
The 1256-WD8615G is compatible with metal doors 1-3/4 inches thick minimum and installs with standard machine screws. Multiple rail sizes accommodate door widths from 24 to 48 inches, and optional electric features including delayed egress, alarm, photoluminescent coating, and remote latch retraction are available.
