The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. This rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements and provides reliable emergency egress with minimal maintenance. The 1256-WD8643J is configured for right-hand reverse (RHR) doors with 32D strike compatibility. It accommodates doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick and requires a 4 1/2" minimum stile width. Standard installation includes machine screw fasteners and stainless steel top bolt.
