The Sargent 80 Series exit device (model 1943-MD8606F ETB RHR 32D) is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and high-traffic facilities, this mortise-mounted device provides maintenance-free operation with modular construction and exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength standards.
This device fits 1-3/4" minimum metal doors with 4-1/2" minimum stile width and mounts at 41" centerline from finished floor (38" for elementary schools). Compatible with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes. Choose from E, F, J, or G rails based on door width (24-48"). Electric options include alarm, delayed egress, latch retraction, and monitoring.
