The Sargent 80 Series MD8610E is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for commercial buildings requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for metal doors 1¾" to 2¼" thick, this rim-mounted panic bar combines modular construction with minimal maintenance, delivering reliable egress control and strength throughout the building's lifecycle.
This LHR (left-hand reverse) configuration fits standard door openings up to 96" in height with a 41" centerline installation. Available rail sizes (E, F, J, G) accommodate doors 24" to 48" wide and factory-cut to specification. Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarm functionality, and latch monitoring.
