The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic hardware solution designed for commercial and institutional facilities requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. This rim-mounted, right-hand reverse unit meets or exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements, making it ideal for high-traffic metal doors where durability and code compliance are essential.
This model fits metal doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick with a minimum 4-1/2" stile width. It includes modular construction, a standard hex key dogging feature, and compatibility with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes (panic and fire-rated). Optional electric features include alarm, photoluminescent coating, illuminated touchpad, latchbolt monitoring, and delayed egress.
