Description
The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to exceed ANSI A156.2 Grade 2 requirements. Ideal for office doors, retail spaces, and institutional facilities, this lock delivers reliable access control and security for doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. The universal hand design simplifies inventory and installation across multiple door configurations.
This lock fits ANSI A115.2 (161) prepared doors with a 4-1/2" minimum stile and includes two nickel silver keys. Backset options include 2-3/4" standard or 2-3/8" (order with 20- prefix). Strike choices range from 600 Curved Lip (brass or stainless) to 808 ANSI or 505 Full Lip.
