The Sargent 281-UO Powerglide Series is a heavy-duty cast iron surface door closer engineered for interior and exterior applications. Designed for architects and building owners who demand reliability, this ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 closer meets fire-rated door requirements and accommodates standard, top jamb, parallel, and track installations with adjustable spring power (sizes 1-6).
Non-handed design works on left and right hinged doors; ships pre-adjusted to size 3. UL and CUL listed for fire doors. All-weather fluid ensures reliable operation in extreme temperatures.
