Description

The Sargent 80 Series 43-8816J is a heavy-duty rim exit device engineered for commercial facilities demanding durability and reliable panic hardware. Ideal for fire-rated doors on wood or metal frames, this Grade 1 device solves the challenge of combining emergency egress compliance with long-term security and minimal maintenance across single and double door applications.

This right-hand reverse (RHR) unit fits 37 to 42 inch door widths with no cutting required at 42 inches. Compatible with 1-3/4 inch thick doors; thicker doors require a 31-prefix model. Sargent's modular design minimizes moving parts, reducing service needs over the building's life.
