The Sargent 80 Series mortise exit device delivers Grade 1 security for wood and metal doors in facilities demanding durability and low maintenance. Built with modular construction and minimal moving parts, this left-hand reverse unit handles 1-3/4" thick doors with stiles 4-1/2" or wider. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, hospitals and multi-tenant properties.
The E rail version fits doors 24" to 32" wide with no cutting required at 32". Modular design eliminates routine maintenance while exceeding ANSI/BHMA strength and cycle requirements. Options include delayed egress, alarmed exit and electric latch retraction for specialized applications.
