Description

The Sargent 80 Series 43-8946E is a heavy-duty mortise exit device engineered for wood and metal doors requiring Grade 1 security. Built for facilities demanding durability and low maintenance, this right-hand reverse (RHR) configuration exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards and suits doors 1-3/4" thick with 4-1/2" minimum stiles. E-rail fits 24" to 32" door widths without cutting.

Compatible with standard mortise preparations on commercial entry and egress doors. Modular design minimizes moving parts and service needs. Optional features include delayed egress, electric latch retraction, and alarmed configurations for specialized applications.
