The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 rated egress solution for wood or metal doors, designed for facilities demanding heavy-duty, long-lasting security. This rim-mounted device with right-hand reverse (RHR) configuration and 32-inch door width compatibility exceeds ANSI/BHMA cycle and strength standards, with modular construction and minimal moving parts for maintenance-free operation.
Suitable for 1 3/4-inch to 2 1/4-inch thick doors with 4 1/2-inch minimum stile width (trim) or 3 1/2-inch without trim. The E Rail accommodates doors 24-32 inches wide without cutting for 32-inch openings. Optional features include delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction.
