The Adams Rite 4300 electrified deadlatch (eLatch) combines mechanical locking with access control for aluminum entrance doors. Non-handed and narrow backset, it solves the need for fail-secure entry on doors requiring both manual and electronic operation. Always operable from inside via handle or paddle. Ideal for commercial facilities managing multiple access points.
The 4300 works with standard mortise cylinders and interfaces with access control systems. It requires 1.75 inch minimum door thickness and operates on 12, 16, or 24 volt DC power for continuous duty. Interchangeable with MS Deadlocks and 4500/4900 deadlatches without stile modification.
