The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified security and durability. Ideal for commercial and institutional facilities, this right-hand reverse (RHR) model solves the need for reliable emergency egress that exceeds code while minimizing maintenance through modular construction and few moving parts.
This device fits metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness with 4-1/2" minimum stile width and uses the J rail for 37-42" door widths (factory-cut to size). Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarm, photoluminescent coating, and latch monitoring.
