The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic hardware solution designed for commercial facilities requiring durable, code-compliant egress on metal doors. This rim-mounted, right-hand reverse (RHR) model meets ANSI/BHMA standards with minimal maintenance thanks to its modular construction and few moving parts, making it ideal for buildings where long-term security and reliability matter.
This device fits metal doors 1 3/4 inches minimum thickness and uses a J rail for 37 to 42 inch door widths, factory-cut to size. Compatible with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes (panic and fire-rated). Optional features include delayed egress, alarms, photoluminescent coatings, and remote latch retraction.
