Description

The Sargent 5556-8504E is a heavy-duty rim exit device designed for facilities requiring durable, reliable security hardware. Built for wood or metal doors 1-3/4" thick with a minimum 1-3/4" stile, it suits schools, hospitals, offices, and commercial buildings where code compliance and long-term durability matter. The 80 Series exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements with minimal maintenance needs.

This rim configuration fits E-rail doors 24" to 32" wide with no cutting required at 32". Modular construction and few moving parts ensure years of trouble-free operation.
