The Sargent 80 Series rim exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for commercial facilities requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified egress hardware. Built with modular construction and minimal moving parts, it delivers maintenance-free operation and exceptional durability across wood or metal doors up to 1-3/4" thick.
The J-rail version fits doors 37" to 42" wide with no cutting required for 42" openings. Verify your door type and thickness before ordering; doors over 1-3/4" require a 31-prefix model.
