The Sargent 5556-AD8606G is an 80 Series exit device engineered for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial facilities, educational institutions, and high-traffic buildings, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards and delivers maintenance-free operation with modular construction and minimal moving parts.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) device fits 1-3/4" minimum thickness metal doors and features a 41" centerline installation height. Four rail sizes accommodate doors from 24" to 48" wide. Compatible with optional delayed egress, alarm, photoluminescent, and remote latch retraction systems.
