Description
The Sargent 5556-MD8610G is an 80 Series exit device built for facilities requiring durable, Grade 1 security hardware. Ideal for metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards with modular construction, few moving parts, and maintenance-free operation. Available in multiple configurations with optional delayed egress, alarm, and electric latch retraction features.
This LHR (left-hand reverse) device fits doors 24" to 48" wide using appropriate rail sizes (E, F, J, or G). Hex key dogging is standard on non-fire-rated versions.
