The Sargent 5556-MD8613E is a Grade 1 exit device engineered for metal doors requiring durable, code-compliant egress hardware. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and institutional buildings, it provides reliable panic bar operation and exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle and structural strength with minimal maintenance.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) device suits 1-3/4" minimum thickness metal doors with 4-1/2" minimum stile width. Available rail sizes (E, F, J, G) accommodate door widths 24-48".
