The Sargent 5556 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic hardware solution designed for metal doors in commercial and institutional facilities. It provides durable, code-compliant egress on 1 3/4" minimum thickness doors and exceeds ANSI/BHMA strength and cycle requirements. Modular construction with minimal moving parts ensures reliable, maintenance-free operation.
This left-hand reverse model installs on standard door frames and includes factory-cut rail sizing based on your door width (24" to 48" openings).
