The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic hardware solution designed for commercial and institutional buildings requiring durable, low-maintenance egress security. This rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle strength and is built with modular construction and minimal moving parts, making it ideal for high-traffic metal doors requiring reliable emergency exit control.
This model fits metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness with standard machine screw fasteners and a 41" centerline from finished floor. Available rail sizes (E, F, J, G) accommodate door widths 24-48". Compatible strikes include 650 Top and 606 Bottom for panic and fire-rated applications.
