The Sargent 80 Series rim exit device is a heavy-duty emergency egress solution for wood and metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. It exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 strength and cycle requirements, offering modular construction with minimal moving parts for maintenance-free operation and long-term security performance.
Compatible with 1-3/4" thick doors (thicker doors available with 31-prefix ordering). Available in E, F, J, and G rail configurations for door widths 24" to 48", with no cutting required for standard sizes. Optional features include delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction.
