The Sargent 56-8943E is a mortise exit device for wood or metal doors 1-3/4" thick with 4-1/2" minimum stile width. Built on the proven 80 Series platform, it delivers Grade 1 strength and durability for commercial facilities requiring reliable life-safety hardware that handles high-cycle use without maintenance.
This RHR configuration fits E Rail doors 24" to 32" wide with no cutting required at 32". Sargent 80 Series exit devices support optional features including delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction for specialized applications.
