The Sargent 80 Series MD8610F is a heavy-duty rim exit device designed for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and facilities with strict fire and safety codes, this left-hand reverse (LHR) unit solves the need for reliable emergency egress that meets life-safety standards without compromise.
This F-rail model fits doors 33" to 36" wide and installs with standard machine screws on doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick. Compatible with top and bottom strikes (650/606), it supports optional electric features including delayed egress, alarm, photoluminescent coating, and remote latch retraction.
