The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 certified panic hardware solution designed for commercial metal doors requiring durability and reliable emergency egress. Built with modular construction and minimal moving parts, it delivers maintenance-free operation and exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle and strength across rim, mortise, and vertical rod configurations.
This model fits 1-3/4" minimum metal doors with a 4-1/2" minimum stile width and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike. The J rail accommodates 37" to 42" door widths (factory-cut to 42" standard). Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarm, photoluminescent coating, and remote latch retraction.
