The Sargent 80 Series exit device (Model 56-MD8613G) is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and facilities with high-traffic emergency exits, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements while maintaining a maintenance-free design with minimal moving parts.
This left-hand reverse (LHR) configuration fits doors 1-3/4 inch minimum thickness and 4-1/2 inch minimum stile width. Rails are available in four sizes (E, F, J, G) to accommodate door widths from 24 to 48 inches.
