The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a heavy-duty panic bar solution for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. Engineered for environments demanding maximum security and durability, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements for cycle and strength, with modular construction that requires minimal maintenance throughout the building's lifecycle.
The 56-MD8643F is configured for right-hand reverse (RHR) mounting on 1 3/4" minimum thickness doors and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike rated for fire-rated applications. Rails are factory-cut to your door width (E, F, J, or G rail options for doors 24" to 48" wide). Electric options like delayed egress, remote latch retraction, and SARGuide photoluminescent coating are available for specialized applications.
