The Adams Rite 7140-340-628-00 is an electrically unlocked fail-secure electric strike designed for aluminum, hollow metal, or wood door frames. It solves access control challenges by enabling remote door unlocking while maintaining security when power is off, ideal for commercial buildings, offices, and secured facilities requiring controlled entry.
This strike fits standard 1-3/4" thick doors and accepts Adams Rite 4500, 4900 deadlatch, or cylindrical latch bolts. It operates on 12VAC with a field-convertible fail-safe option.
