The Adams Rite 7800 electric strike is a low-profile, surface-mounted solution for facilities managers and integrators securing doors with Adams Rite rim exit devices. This non-handed strike delivers over 1,500 lbs of holding force in fail-secure mode, enabling remote electrical control without requiring users to actuate the exit device, ideal for high-traffic or restricted-access applications.
The 7800-628E is compatible with Adams Rite 8700, 8800, and EX88 Series rim exit devices featuring Starwheel or Interlocking latching mechanisms. It operates on field-selectable 12 or 24 VDC power and ships with spacer plates and mounting hardware for aluminum, hollow metal, or wood doors.
