The Sargent 8271-12V 26D is an electromechanical mortise lock built for access control on single doors or integrated systems. Its field-changeable fail-safe/fail-secure design operates on 12V to 24V power, making it ideal for facilities needing flexible security with ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 performance and UL fire-door listing.
This lock fits standard 1.75-inch doors with a 2.75-inch backset and reversible latch.
