The Sargent 8271-12V is a 12V-24V electric mortise lock designed for single-door access control and sophisticated building integration. This Grade 1 ANSI/BHMA lock features field-changeable fail-safe/fail-secure functions, making it ideal for commercial facilities, educational institutions, and multi-tenant buildings needing reliable electromechanical security without rewiring.
Fits standard 1-3/4" thick doors with 2-3/4" backset and ANSI-standard strike. The 8271-12V supports multiple cylinder systems (Signature, V-10, XC, KESO) and can be masterkeyed for key control.
