The Sargent 8272-12V 26D is an electromechanical mortise lock designed for single-opening and access control applications. Built with field-changeable fail-safe/fail-secure functions and 12V-24V operation, it solves the need for flexible, upgradeable security on standard interior and exterior doors. ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 rated and UL-listed for fire doors, it meets strict industry standards.
Compatible with standard 1.75-inch doors and ANSI A115.1 strike plates, the 8272-12V features a reversible stainless steel latch and deadbolt with 2.75-inch backset.
