Description
The Sargent 8272-12V is a 12V-24V electromechanical mortise lock designed for single-door access control and integration with sophisticated security systems. Its field-changeable fail-safe/fail-secure function, ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 rating, and UL fire-door listing make it ideal for commercial facilities requiring reliable, standards-compliant entry control.
This lock fits standard 1 3/4" doors with a 2 3/4" backset and works with most cylinder security systems including Sargent Signature, V-10, XC, and KESO. Installation follows ANSI A115.1 templates.
