The Adams Rite 8420-28230 is a life-safety exit device designed for narrow stile aluminum doors requiring mortise locking. The non-handed pushbar is made of extruded aluminum in multiple finishes and suits standard door openings from 30" to 48". This device fits doors up to 8 ft tall (10 ft with optional Tall Door Kit) and 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thickness. The bar height adjusts 30" to 44", with optional hex key, cylinder, or electric dogging.
