The HES 8500 is a fire-rated electric strike engineered for mortise locksets without deadbolts. Its concealed design and keeper pin locking mechanism deliver Grade-1 strength in a compact footprint, solving the challenge of upgrading security on fire-rated doors without frame modification. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and hospitals requiring both access control and fire safety compliance.
The 8500 accommodates mortise latchbolts up to 3/4" throw and installs by replacing your existing strike plate.
