The Sargent 8913J mortise exit device delivers Grade 1 security for wood or metal doors 1-3/4" thick. Designed for facilities requiring durable, maintenance-free egress hardware, the 80 Series features modular construction, few moving parts, and cycle strength that exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards. Right-hand reverse (RHR) configuration fits door widths 37-42" without cutting on 42" doors.
Installation suits standard mortise prep with 4-1/2" minimum stile width. Optional delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction enhance flexibility for unique applications.
