The Sargent 8943F is a Grade 1 mortise exit device built for facilities requiring durable, long-lasting security. Designed for wood or metal doors 1-3/4" thick with a 4-1/2" minimum stile, it combines modular construction with few moving parts to deliver maintenance-free operation and reliable egress control in any building type.
This left-hand reverse (LHR) model fits door widths 24-32" using the E Rail with no cutting required for 32" doors. Sargent's 80 Series exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength standards and supports optional delayed egress, alarmed, and electric latch retraction configurations.
