Description

The Sargent 8966E is a Grade 1 mortise exit device engineered for wood and metal doors requiring institutional-strength security. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and hospitals, it delivers reliable emergency egress control with minimal maintenance and maximum durability across the building's lifecycle.

This mortise-mounted device fits 1-3/4" thick doors with a minimum 4-1/2" stile and accommodates door widths 24-32" on the E rail with no cutting required for 32" doors.
