The Sargent 80 Series AD8606J is a rim-mounted exit device engineered for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic environments, this device delivers maintenance-free operation with modular construction and few moving parts, solving the need for reliable emergency egress hardware that lasts the building's lifetime.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) model fits 32" door widths and is compatible with 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick metal doors. Installation includes factory-cut E Rail (24"–32" doors) with stainless steel top bolt and standard hex key dogging. Optional features include delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction.
