Description
The Adams Rite 7170 is a 24VAC fail-secure electric strike designed for hollow metal and wood door jambs. It provides remote electrical control of mortise or cylindrical locksets with up to 3/4" latchbolt projection, allowing hands-free door access by unlocking the strike jaw to release the latchbolt without operating the latch mechanism itself.
This compact strike fits jambs as shallow as 1-7/8" and is field convertible between fail-secure and fail-safe modes. It replaces discontinued Adams Rite models 7560AN, 7570, 7860AN, and 7870.
