The Yale 8847FL is a heavy-duty mortise lock designed for commercial entrances and apartments requiring robust security and reliable operation. Built with a stainless steel mechanism, this Grade 1 lock handles high-traffic doors while maintaining smooth, consistent performance. It features a single-cylinder deadbolt design (cylinder not included) and field-reversible handing for flexible installation.
Compatible with standard 1-3/4" doors and adjustable up to 3-1/4" thick doors, this ANSI/BHMA certified lock meets fire-rating and windstorm requirements. It ships with two keys and supports optional 7-pin cylinders.
