The La Gard 700 Basic is an entry-level electronic safe lock designed for residential and commercial safes, gun safes, and ATM applications. This pushbutton keypad lock replaces traditional mechanical locks with a 6-digit combination offering one million possible permutations. It solves the security and convenience challenge by allowing easy code changes while maintaining strong access control with dual-user management capabilities.
The swing bolt assembly features an automatic locking mechanism and is certified to UL Group 1 and European VDS KL2 manipulation proof standards. It operates on a standard 9V Duracell alkaline battery and can retrofit existing mechanical lock openings.
