The HES 8000 is a compact, high-performance electric strike engineered for cylindrical locksets without requiring frame cutting. Designed for facilities managers and security integrators, it solves retrofit challenges by replacing existing strike plates with vertical adjustability to accommodate door sag and misalignment. Its keeper pin locking design delivers static strength of 1,500 lbs. and dynamic strength of 70 ft-lbs., exceeding frame and door ratings.
The 8000 accommodates latchbolts from 1/2" to 5/8" throw and operates on field-selectable fail-safe or fail-secure modes at 12 or 24 VDC/VAC.
