The Norton 7500 Series J7500 696 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for interior and exterior doors in demanding commercial facilities. Its rack-and-pinion design with cast aluminum body delivers superior performance, strength and reliability, exceeding 25 million cycles. Non-handed installation fits doors of either hand, solving the need for separate left and right units.
This closer features independent latch, sweep and backcheck intensity valves for precise control, multi-size spring power adjustment (sizes 1-6), and temperature-stable fluid that performs from -40°F to extreme heat. Surface projection is 2-3/16 inches maximum. All external components are corrosion-resistant aluminum, brass or stainless steel with stainless steel fasteners.
