The Norton 8301H is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for interior and exterior doors in commercial and institutional settings. It solves the problem of inconsistent door closing and safety compliance by delivering reliable, smooth closure with adjustable speed controls and non-handed installation on either door swing.
This closer features a non-handed rack-and-pinion design with cast aluminum body, hex-key adjustable sweep and latch speed valves, and multi-size spring power (sizes 1-6). It mounts surface-style projecting less than 2.125 inches and performs reliably in temperatures from -40°F to extreme heat.
