The Yale 8800 Series mortise lock delivers commercial-grade security for interior and exterior doors in demanding applications. Designed for offices, healthcare facilities, and institutional buildings, this ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified lock combines a reinforced stainless steel deadbolt with vandal-resistant trim to prevent forced entry and tampering on doors up to 3.25 inches thick.
Field-reversible handing and standard nonhanded strike simplify installation on either hand. The lock accepts 6-pin or 7-pin cylinders and is UL/cUL fire-rated up to 3 hours.
