The Schlage L0170 ACCA 643E LH is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, all-metal zinc dichromate-plated working parts, and two-piece anti-friction tongue to reduce wear and deliver dependable operation under constant use.
This left-hand lock supports ten functions in a universal case and is field-reversible without opening the lock. It includes a break-away spindle for security and easy replacement, hub blocking plate to discourage spindle manipulation, and fail-secure mode via spring-loaded fusible link.
